This is an interesting picture of my dog Toby. He seems to be the most photogenic dog we have. What killer eyes he has, so cool.

Battalion Photo

This is a shot of the entire Battalion. We did this in 115 degree heat, brutal!! Overall not a bad photo. I didn't take it because I am the guy out front in the far left of the pic. I did however give it a dose of Photoshop because the original wasn't that good.

Room

Well, this is my room. I should only have three more nights to stay in this prison. Between this and the eight months I spent at the Joint Security Station (JSS), this has been a living hell for me. I will agree that I could have had worse accomidations over the last year, but not by much. Almost everyone has had a room mate over the last year, so I should consider myself fortunate for that. I don't know if I could have been couped up with another person for a year without killing them. Anyway, this is the one of the last pictures I will ever take of this place. I am not sad by a long shot as this has been one of the worst years of my life. With any luck this will be my last deployment, don't know if I can take it again!

Babies

Here is a picture of our kids. Patti took it with her "Droid" phone. Haven't been posting much lately as we are trying to get out of here. Hopefully when I return home I can update often with new pictures. I haven't taken many lately because there is no photo worthy shots left here. It's very disappointing!!!!

Packing Out

Took this pic yesterday as our Soldiers continue to pack out all of containers for shipment home. We are finally leaving this hell hole. It will be so nice to get home to all of life's little comforts that I took for granted. Ah, to shower with no shower shoes!!!!

Last week

Today is the last week in July. Just one more week and I can say, "I am going home this month". Can't wait! Next week we pack out all of our containers and then sit around and wait for time to leave. Getting home is going to be nice. It seems like it has been forever since I have been in my own bed. Miss my wife, miss my dogs and miss everything about the US of A!!!

Counting Down

Well, here is my first picture post on my "Blog".

I know it isn't the greatest picture, but it is one that I like a lot. It has a couple of my favorite pics embeded in the pic itself and a clock that reminds me that I am counting down the hours until I can be with my favorite girl again.

Initial

Well this is the inital attempt at a blog for me. I am setting this up as a place to post my photographs for as many people to view as possible. It won't be pretty at first, but as with everything else, if I find the time to put effort into it, it should get better. Besides, I will have my wife critique me along the way to keep me on the straight and narrow. She is and always has been my left and right limits!!
